At Darul Ihsan, all programs are conducted in English to make the message of Islam accessible to everyone. We are also proud to foster an environment of inclusion and respect. Women are strongly encouraged to attend all our events. While we uphold and promote the highest Islamic values of modesty, dignity, and moral integrity, we do not enforce gender segregation. Our goal is to cultivate a space where every individual—regardless of gender—can learn, grow, and worship with sincerity and mutual respect.

Purpose

Darul Ihsan is a non-profit 501(c)(3), tax-exempt, religious organization. Its purpose is to promote Cultural teachings, understanding, and unity among all Muslims in the greater Sacramento area. Darul Ihsan prides itself in being a multi-ethnic organization and shall strive to maintain it.

Darul Ihsan was founded in 2014 by Imam Abdur Rahman as a humble center of Cultural education, discipline, and development, starting with just a handful of students. Over the past decade, it has grown into an impactful organization, touching the lives of thousands of Muslims around the world
